Indian Army Personnel Ordered to Delete 89 Apps Including Facebook, PUBG, Instagram

The government of India recently banned 59 Chinese apps. Now Indian Army has asked its personnel to delete 89 apps from their smartphones. In this list their many apps that are not from China. The list of apps includes names like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, some games like PUBG, etc. The report first comes from news agency ANI. 

According to Army sources quoted by the report, the ban is being implemented to stop the leakage of sensitive information. Personals are given time until 15th July. By then if they don’t remove these apps from their smartphone they will face departmental action.
