This is the time of the year when we start getting rumors and leaks about the iPhone which generally launches in October. This year we already get the CAD-based render image of the iPhone 12. Now a new leak by @jon_prosser suggests that iPhone 12 will come with a reduced notch size.
Jon Prosser has shared a schematic of the upcoming iPhone 12. Where we can see the reduced size of the notch which holds the FaceID hardware. We were getting rumors that Apple will not remove the notch rather they will reduce the size of it and the latest leak also supports the same.
Not only the size of the notch reduced but also the position of some of the hardware also changes compare to current-gen. In this new design of the notch, the earpiece sits in the top thin bezel of the device as compared to the current-gen iPhone in which it is present in between Face ID components.
Jon Prosser has a solid track record of Apple-related leak. Still, we would suggest you take all of this with a grain of salt.
