Xiaomi has launched its first Gaming laptop called Redmi G Gaming Notebook under its Redmi brand in China. Xiaomi has launched three variants of Redmi G Gaming Notebook, differentiated by three different processors although other specs remain almost the same. The Redmi G Gaming Notebook comes with some impressive specs under the hood like Intel 10th gen processor, Nvidia GPU, high refresh rate display, etc.

Redmi G Gaming Notebook features a 16.1-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display with up to 144Hz refresh rate. The display has 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color space, 178-degree viewing angle, and 81 percent screen to body ratio. The display can go up to 300 nits peak brightness and has a 1000:1 contrast ratio with support for DC dimming. Overall Redmi G Gaming Notebook has slim bezel except the large chin at the bottom of the display.
Redmi G Gaming laptop is powered by the Intel 10th gen process. The base variant has the Intel i5-10200H 4 core 8 thread processor with 2.4 GHz base clock and 4.1 GHz boost clock. The mid variant has the Intel Core i5-10300H 4 core 8 thread processor with 2.5 GHz base clock and 4.5 GHz boost clock. While the top is powered by the Intel Core i7-10750H 6 core 12 threads processor with 2.6 GHz base and 5 GHz boost clock.
The base variant of the Redmi G Gaming Notebook has the Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU while the other two have the Nvidia GTX 1650Ti GPU under the hood. As for memory, all the models come with 16GB ( 2 x 8GB) 2933MHz DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD (up to 2TB). The laptop comes with a 55Wh battery with 180W charging support.
The laptop comes with 1 USB 2.0 port, 2 USB 3.2 ports, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, 1 USB Type-C port, and 1 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a full-size three-level adjustable white backlit keyboard with 1.5mm keystroke. The notebook has WiFi-6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support, supports up to three 4K screens at the same time. The audio on the Redmi 5 is handled by two 2W speakers with DTS:X Ultra support. On the software front, the Redmi G laptop runs Windows 10 and it comes bundled with Microsoft Office.

The Redmi G is available for pre-orders in China and will go on sale starting August 18. As of now, Xiaomi has not shared any information about international availability.
