The new Windows 10 update has brought some new issues with it, sound familiar? If so then it’s not something unusual. It has happened plenty of time and it is happening with the latest Windows 10 update AKA Windows 10 v2004. This new update has brought some critical issues along with new features and improvements.
Fortunately, Microsoft has already acknowledged these problems and is already working on the fixes. The Windows 10 May 2020 Update does reportedly cause issues with certain Nvidia display adapters, breaks the Always On, Always Connected functionality. Some users may also face difficulty when connecting to more than one Bluetooth device after the update.
Some users are also reported that variable display refresh rates with Intel graphics is not working. Some devices may face issues with Thunderbolt docks that may show a stop error when plugging in or unplugging the dock.
Microsoft knows that not all users are aware of this problem. That’s why Microsoft is now showing a notice when an update isn’t yet available for a particular system. “The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. We’re offering this update to compatible devices, but your device isn’t quite ready for it. Once your device is ready, you’ll see the update available on this page. There’s nothing you need to do at this time,” reads the prompt.
Right now we recommend users to wait for the official update to arrive on their systems and avoid force downloading the flawed Windows 10 May 2020 update. And additionally, I would suggest users not to update Windows 10 right away because it has a history of problems with the new updates.
