Its been a while since HTC has launched a phone. But finally, the Taiwanese phone maker is back with HTC Desire 20 Pro. Over the weeks we have seen so many leaks about the phone that we almost know many things about it.
HTC website has confirmed that it will launch the phone on June 16th. In a “Save The Date” poster on their community website, HTC has announced the event for the launch of its next smartphone. Although the poster didn’t mention the HTC Desire 20 Pro or even any name actually. But many leaks and rumors are pointing that it is HTC Desire 20 Pro.
And also the poster shows that the upcoming phone has a left-aligned in-display camera on the front, hinting at a punch-hole design, and a left-sided camera island at the back. This design is on per with the leaked design we have of HTC Desire 20 Pro.
The HTC Desire 20 Pro was recently certified on various regulator websites, including the Google Play Console, Bluetooth SIG, and Wi-Fi Alliance. The device will have a quad-camera setup at the back. It will have a punch-hole camera in front but it will not get the in-display fingerprint sensor. Instead, it will have an old-style fingerprint sensor at the back.
The HTC Desire 20 Pro will midrange smartphone. The phone will have a 6.4-inch IPS display with full HD+ resolution. The phone will run on Android 10 out-of-the-box. It is expected to have Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. HTC Desire 20 Pro will have 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
