Telecom operators in India like Vodafone, Airtel, BSNL is offering access to the various streaming platforms in their Prepaid and Postpaid plans. Reliance Jio is the latest inclusion on the list. Reliance Jio will offer free access to a year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
Reliance Jio is showing the teaser both in my Jio app and the official Jio website. Right now there are no details about the plan. But Jio has said that they provide details on this matter very soon. So we don’t know whether it will be available for all plans or Jio will create new plans especially for this service.
Recently Hotstar revamped its platform and change its pricing structure. After the addition of Disney+ content into the platform, now the platform is called Disney+ Hotstar. There are two plans available in the platform one Disney+ Hotstar Vip which costs Rs. 399 and the other one is Disney+ Hotstar Premium which costs Rs. 1499. The difference between the two plans is that Premium one offers Disney+ Originals, and the latest shows from studios like HBO, Fox, and Showtime which is not available in the VIP plan.
