Reliance Industries’ JioMart might be late in the Indian e-commerce market than Amazon, Flipkart, or BigBasket but it is now giving customers exciting offers to choose it over its competitor. Up until you need to order a minimum Rs. 750 worth of grocery in order to eligible for free delivery. But from now on JioMart has decided to provide free delivery to all products without any minimum order value.
JioMart is also diversifying its offerings beyond groceries, and will now also sell electronics, fashion, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare products. These are sectors that Reliance already has a foothold in offline through Reliance Retail that it could ultimately leverage. JioMart is currently available in 200 cites in India and according to Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, it is getting around 2,50,000 orders a day.
JioMart has also released an Android application in the play store. Before this, it was only available through the web site. Currently, there is no iOS app available for the JioMart. Reliance has not given any time frame when it will available for iOS devices.
