World’s one of the biggest streaming platforms Netflix now supports the world’s third most spoken language Hindi. Netflix is offering full Hindi experience from sign up to search rows, collections, and payment is available across all devices on mobile, TV, and web.
To switch your language to Hindi you need to go to Manage Profiles then choose the profile and then select Hindi from the language drop-down menu. Netflix gives you the option to set up a maximum of five profiles and each profile can have its own language setting. Even if you are outside India you still can choose Hindi as your language.
Netflix is doing India specific changes to the platform for quite some time now. While the Indian stream platform is dominated by Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix is coming with new plans and changes to lure Indian users to Netflix. Last year Netflix introduced Rs. 199 mobile-only SD plan and a few weeks ago they introduced Rs. 349 Mobile + HD plan which can be also accessed from PC.
Monika Shergill, VP of Content at Netflix India, said in a statement, “Delivering a great Netflix experience is as important to us as creating great content. We believe the new user interface will make Netflix even more accessible and better suit members who prefer Hindi.”
