Ahead of the launch in India, Realme has launched Realme C12, another budget smartphone in C series, in Indonesia. The budget smartphone comes with a waterdrop-style notch and a triple camera setup at the back.
Realme C12 Specification
Realme C12 features a 6.5-inch HD+ mini-drop display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display is protected by the corning gorilla glass. It also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Realme C12 is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
At the back, Realme C12 sports a triple camera setup housed in a square camera module and consists of a 13MP f/2.2 primary sensor along with a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 microlens. At the front Realme C12 has a 5MP front camera for selfies which is housed in the waterdrop notch at the top center of the display. Camera features include beauty mode, HDR, panoramic view, portrait mode, time-lapse, HDR, slow-motion, nightscape, and more.
Realme C12 packs a 6,000mAh battery with 10W charging. On the connectivity side it has support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, micro USB. The device weighs 209 grams and runs on Android 10-based Realme UI.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme C12 is priced at 18,99,000 Indonesian Rupiah (US$ 128 / Rs. 9588 approx.) for the single 3GB + 32GB storage variant. It comes in Marine Blue and Coral Red color options. The Realme C12 is scheduled to launch on August 18 in India.
