Samsung has launched its latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G. This latest foldable smartphone is the upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip launched in February this year. This launch comes a few days before the big August 5 unveiling of Samsung where the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will be launching. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G comes with upgraded SoC and with 5G support.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G Specification
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has an identical spec as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4G version except for the SoC. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD (1080×2636 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display. The display has a 21.9:9 aspect ration and offers 425 ppi pixel density. On the outer side, there is a 1.1-inch (112×300 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 303ppi. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy Z Flip 5G as well.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon 865+ SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G supports 5G Non-Standalone(NSA), 5G Standalone(SA) network, and Sub6 bands.
At the back, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G features a 12MP ultra-wide with f/2.2, 1.12um pixel size and 123-degree, and a 12MP wide-angle camera with f/1.8 aperture and 1.4um pixel size. At the front, the phone has a 10MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture with 1.22um pixel size and an 80-degree field of view.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support. On the connectivity side, it has support for 5G NSA/SA, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, and GPS.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is available in two color options – Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is priced at $1,449.99 ( ₹1,11,900 approximately) for the single 8GB + 256GB storage option. It will be available in the carrier and unlocked versions starting August 7 in the US through AT&T, Best Buy, Samsung.com, T-Mobile, and Amazon.com.
