2020 was an exciting year for Console Gamers. Both Sony and Microsoft launched their new-gen console in the holiday season. Though Sony launched PlayStation 5 back on the 12th of November, it did not arrive in India. Reason being the supply shortage and copyright issue. But it seems like Sony has all the issues and it is ready to launch PS5 in India.
Sony has announced that the console will launch in India on February 2. The pre-orders for PS5 will start at 12 PM on January 12 both online and offline. We will be able to preorder it on Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Shop at Sony Center, Vijay Sales, and other select authorized retail partners.
Pricing
Sony has already announced the pricing for the PlayStation 5 along with accessories. PlayStation 5 is priced at Rs 49,990 for the normal edition and Rs 39,990 for the digital edition. As for the accessories, the DualSense Wireless Controller is priced at Rs 5,990, the HD camera at Rs 5,190, the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset at Rs 8,590, the media remote at Rs 2,590, and the DualSense Charging Station at Rs 2,590.
So you better be ready to preorder PS5 on January 12th. Sony has mentioned any available quantities for India. But judging by the supply shortage of console components throughout the last year, it is a no-brainer that the stock will be limited.
