Apple Will Launch Online Store in India on 23rd September

Apple India online store

It’s been more than 20 years since Apple has its presence in India. And finally, they are launching their online store in India on 23rd September. We are hearing about a possible Apple Online Store in India from 2017 and finally, it is happening. Apple is said to offer the same premium experience to its online customer as it offers in the physical Apple stores around the world.

Up until now, Apple sells its products through third-party sellers like e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon. Now as Apple is setting up their first-party store in India, customers are expected to have better customer service, a wide range of configuration options along many other premium features.

We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities. We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time,” said Deirdre O’Brien, SVP of Retail+People at Apple.

The biggest convenience for the customer will the option to configure their Mac, iMac, or Macbooks. Till now you can only buy preconfigure models in India. So even if Apple produces a configuration that you want you may not able to find that configuration in India.

If you are buying an Apple product as a student then get a discount. In India most of the time you need to buy Apple products from a physical store to get the discount.  Now with Apple’s online store, you will be able to do that online easily.

Apple offers a trade-in program where you can buy a new Apple product in exchange for an old Apple product at a discounted price. Current Flipkart and Amazon also offer an exchange program. But with Apple’s own store you will get a better value for Apple products and it will be easier to do so.

Apple will offer one-to-one sessions to its customers via online Apple Specialists. Customers will be able to get advice, receive guidance, and learn about new products directly from Apple, both in English and Hindi.

You will also be able to purchase Apple Care+ online. This extends your warranty with up to 2 years of technical support and accidental damage cover.

According to Apple, all orders will ship with contactless delivery fulfilled by BlueDart within 24 to 72 hours of placing the order. Apple also plans to offer sessions focused on photography and music, as well as add-ons like gift wraps and custom engraving, likely to make gift-giving on Diwali more appealing.
