Today Apple has filed a new iPad entry into the Eurasian Economic Commission database with identifier A2229. From the entry, we can only identify that it is a “tablet computer of the Apple brand,” and that it is running iPadOS 13.
In the past year, the database has served as a reliable source for the new upcoming Apple devices. Because according to the regulation Apple needs to report new products that feature encryption technology in order to sell the device in the Eurasian region. Generally, new Apple products appear in the database a few weeks to several months before the launch.
Only the single variant ie. A2229 has been listed in the Economic Commission database right now. So it may not be the rumored iPad Pro with a triple-lens camera system which is expected to launch sometime in October with several new models of both iPad Pro and iPad. Instead, it can be one of Apple’s entry-level iPad options. Stay tuned for more information on this topic.
