Facebook Gaming App Set to Take on Twitch, YouTube

People around the world are lockdown in their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this reason game live stream is rising. That is why Facebook has launched  Facebook Gaming mobile app on Monday. It will be a direct competitor to other popular game streaming platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer.

Facebook gaming promises to make it easier to consume and create video gameplay. The app has a feature called Go Live which lets people upload their stream and pin that their page which little effort possible.

Once a decade ago Facebook was the top gaming platform. But in recent years it has lost its place and become no-3 behind YouTube and Twitch. Facebook hopes that this app will help them bring that top position back.

Facebook could succeed to grab the mobile game streaming market as many people only have a smartphone as their computing devices. And it is also very wise to target the mobile market as Twitch has already stronghold in the desktop game streaming market.

You can download the app from Google Play Store. It will also be available on iOS devices as soon as Apple gives it a green signal.
