Huawei To Launch EMUI 10 Based On Android Q Next Month

emui 10 launch

Android Q is still in beta phase. It will take a few weeks to release Android Q with a proper name. But that can’t hold Huawei from showing off their next custom skin EMUI 10 based on Android Q. Huawei will unveil the EMUI 10 in its annual Developer Conference on August 9.

EMUI is the modified or tweaked version of Android for the Huawei and Honor devices. EMUI 10 is supposed to based on Android Q. Huawei has shared the schedule for its annual Developer Conference, which is taking place on August 9th. On the schedule of events is a talk titled “Linking the future of the world – Huawei EMUI 10.0 released.” Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software will lead the EMUI keynote.

We don’t know what features will be included in the EMUI 10. But rumours indicated. EMUI 10 will introduce a redesigned iconography, better multitasking experience, overhauled camera UI with improved controls and more features, as well as the second-gen ARK compiler.

Android Q will not be introduced before this fall. Android Q is currently on beta phase. So it is surprising to see an OEM is showing off their software before Google launches the Android version it is based on. So we may speculate that it will more of a demo version of EMUI 10.
