OnePlus Nord is set to release next week. One of the most anticipated phones of this year from OnePlus. With this OnePlus is returning to the midrange section after almost 5 years while it dominates the premium mobile section. Now it looks like that OnePlus may also release another midranger too.
A new OnePlus device has been spotted on Geekbench with a new mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. This could be another version of OnePlus Nord (possibly OnePlus Nord Lite). This new OnePlus device is listed in the benchmarking site with the model number ‘OnePlus BE2028′. List suggests that the device is powered by the ‘lito’ processor, which is commonly used for the Snapdragon 765 SoC range.
But the CPU frequency and identifier suggests that it could Snapdragon 690 SoC. Snapdragon 690 SoC was announced by Qualcomm last month. It features eight Kryo 560 CPU cores running at up to 1.7GHz. It is a mid-range SoC with support for dual-brand 5G.
Like the OnePlus Nord, it also running in Android 10 and has 6GB of RAM. Many are calling this new OnePlus BE2028 as the OnePlus Nord Lite. Although OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus Nord but they have not said anything about the new OnePlus BE2028 or OnePlus Nord Lite. Releasing day coming near we may see more about this new device in the upcoming day.
