Oppo is planning to unveil a new smartwatch on July 31. The Oppo Watch will run the Google Wear OS. Oppo first released the smartwatch in China back in May but that time the watch was running the custom version of ColorOS. Oppo Watch Specifications

We are hoping Oppo will release the watch with the same spec as the Chinese One. The Oppo Watch features a 3D flexible AMOLED display.  The 41mmm variant has a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 320×360 pixels resolution, while the 46mm model has a 1.91-inch display with 402×476 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density.

The Oppo Watch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 SoC & Apollo 3 dual processors coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The 46mm variant of the Oppo Watch comes with a 5ATM water resistance rating, while the 41mm variant is rated 3ATM. The smartwatch has LTE connectivity via the eSIM facility, which should be compatible with most carriers globally.

Oppo Watch has an ECG sensor, a heart-rate monitor, and a pedometer. The 46mm version has a 400 mAh battery while the 41mm has a 300mAh battery. The OPPO Watch also has Watch VOOC flash charge technology, so the battery can be charged from 1% to 50% in 17 minutes.

Oppo Watch launched in China at a price of  1,499 yuan (~$215/ Rs. 16,000). We will have to wait till Friday to know the global pricing.
