Twitter lets you add GIFs And Videos To Retweet

GIFs in retweet

Exciting news for twitter user, from now on you can add GIFs, videos and photos in your retweet. The update is rolling out on iOS, Android and mobile.twitter.com. So those days are over when you just slap a downward pointing finger emoji on your retweets.

According to Twitter, to implement this simple feature they need to change some design on Twitter. The main problem was, it was challenging to understand and differentiate between the original tweet and the retweet. This is because there were two large tweets stacked on top of each other. The solution is simple, they make the original smaller and indented.

“The most exciting part of this project was that we were working on a feature that many people asked for. We’re very excited to launch this feature across Twitter, and we can’t wait to see it being used by all of you.” the company wrote in a tweet. This was a effort to prove that Twitter actually listens to their user.
