POCO, a brand created by smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi, is preparing to launch a new device in India soon. Poco teased about the launch in the official twitter handle. The device is expected to be manufactured in India under the “Make in India” initiative.
There are many speculations about what this device could be. It can be the Poco M2 Pro, a new device in the M series that emerged on the Xiaomi India website for a short time period with the model number M2003J6CI. There is a very good chance it can also Poco F2 Pro which launched in Europe last month.
The video shared by Poco on twitter highlighted the brand’s dedication towards the Indian market. It is also a crucial time when anti-china sentiment in India is increasing. “With a dream of serving Indian consumers, @IndiaPOCO was born 2 years ago in Delhi, India. We took ahead of the #MakeInIndia initiative by making products and services that are crafted for India. We were, are, and will always be #POCOForIndia!,” read the tweet.
C Manmohan, General Manager, Poco India, said that the brand has the intension to make some amazing products for India. “We will pursue this dream of providing the best experience with the help of our fans. Thanks to all our POCO fans and @IndiaPOCO team for bringing out the best. We are #POCOForIndia,” Manmohan tweeted.
Besides a smartphone, the company also confirmed that soon it will launch its truly wireless earbuds — Poco Pop Buds in India. So there is a good chance that Pop Buds will also be launched in the same event alongside the smartphone.
