Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy M01s in India today. This is a continuation of the budget M series. Samsung Galaxy M01 which launched last month has many similar specs of Galaxy M01s. But the main difference is that M01s has Mediatek SoC while M01 has Qualcomm SoC.
Samsung Galaxy M01s Specification
Samsung Galaxy M01s features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1,280 pixels) TFT Infinity-V display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The ‘Infinity V-Cut’ notch at the top of the display houses the front-facing camera. The device also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
At the back Samsung Galaxy M01s has a dual-camera setup consists of a 13MP f/1.8 primary sensor along with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. At the front, it has an 8MP f/2.0 sensor positioned in the ‘Infinity V-Cut’ notch.
Samsung Galaxy M01s is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB through microSD.
Samsung Galaxy M01s comes with a 4,000 mAh battery inside. On the connectivity side, it has support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE. It features Accelerometer, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, but there is no Gyroscope. The smartphone runs on One UI Core 1.1 based on Android 9.0 (Pie).
Pricing and Availability
Samsung Galaxy M01s comes in a single variant (3GB+32GB) and is priced at Rs. 9999 (~$133). It will be available across Samsung’s offline retail stores, Samsung.com, and other major e-commerce portals. The device is currently listed in Amazon as unavailable.
