Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Leak Shows External Display, Camera Upgrade, and More

Official render of upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 got leaked online. So now it is more or less confirmed that Samsung is adopting Z branding to launch the next-gen Galaxy Fold. Besides the naming convention, we can see the design improvement, camera upgrade, etc.

The image first surfaced in Weibo later tipster Ice Universe shared the image on twitter. The tipster initially shared an extremely blurry image, followed by a better version after a few hours.

The most noticeable change in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the camera compare to the last generation. The rear camera design resembles the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series. We can see the front displays in the leaked render but it is not clear whether this has been upgraded. While a previous leak suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will feature a 7.59-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 2213 x 1689 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

But one thing is clear in this render that the external display has surely gotten an upgrade. While the first generation Fold featured a 4inch external display but it looks like the leatest one will feature a full-size external display.

Another thing we can notice is the color. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series we should see a Mystic Bronze color variant of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Separate rumors suggested the Galaxy Fold 2 will launch at a cheaper price point. But to confirm that we will have to wait till August 5.
