Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra in China. The company unveiled the phone at a virtual event today to mark its 10th anniversary. The cameras are one of the main features of the device. Currently, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra holds the top position in the DXOMARK’s list of best smartphone cameras in the world.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display reaches 800nits of brightness with 1120nit peak value. The display supports 10-bit color depth and HDR10+. The display has a punch on the top left corner of the display to hold the front-facing camera.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC instead of the latest Snapdragon 865+ SoC which we have seen in recent flagships. The device has up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard. Mi 10 Ultra comes with VC liquid cooling, multi-layer graphite, thermal sensor array, and Graphene for effective temperature management of the phone.
At the back Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has a quad-camera setup consists of a 48MP f/1.85 primary sensor along with a 48MP f/4.1 periscope lens with 10x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom, a 20MP f/2.2 128° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP depth sensor. The primary and the periscope sensor has support for OIS or Optical Image Stabilization. At the front, it has a 20MP camera for selfies which sits in the punch hole of the display.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra comes with a 4500mAh battery 120W QC 5 / PD3.0 wired, 50W wireless fast charging, 10w wireless reverse charging. Xiaomi claims that the wired 120W charger can take the phone from 0% to 100% in around 23 minutes.On the connectivity side, it has support for 5G SA/NSA Dual, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 8 x / MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, USB Type-C.
Pricing and Availability
The Mi 10 Ultra comes in Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver and Transparent Edition. It comes at four configurations and prices as follows-
- 8GB+128GB: 5,299 yuan (~Rs. 56,899/ $ 763)
- 8GB+256GB: 5,599 yuan (~Rs. 60,100/ $ 807)
- 12GB+256GB: 5,999 yuan (~Rs. 64,400/ $ 865)
- 16GB+512GB: 6,999 yuan (~Rs. 75,150/ $ 1010)
The phone will go on sale beginning August 16 in China. There is no word on international release at this point.
