Redmi launched Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi 10X Pro 5G, and Redmi 10X 4G in China. Redmi 10X 4G is essentially the rebranded Redmi Note 9 for the Chinese market. While the Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro are MediaTek SoC powered upper-midrange 5G devices.
Redmi 10X 5G Specifications
Redmi 10X 5G features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED panel with support for HDR10. The display can go up to 600 nits at peak brightness. It has a dewdrop notch at the top to hold the front camera. The Redmi 10X 5G is powered by the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC coupled with Mali-G57 MC5 GPU. It offers up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
On the back, Redmi 10X 5G has a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main shooter along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The main shooter has the support for four-axis optical image stabilization. On the front, Redmi 10X 5G has a 16MP shooter which sits in the dewdrop notch at the top.
The smartphone houses a 4,520 mAh battery with support for a 22.5W fast charging. On the connectivity side, it supports dual-band 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. And most importantly it does have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Redmi 10X comes with IP53-level for dust and splash protection.
Redmi 10X Pro 5G specifications
Redmi 10X Pro 5G also features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED panel with support for HDR10. The display can go up to 600 nits at peak brightness. It is also powered by the 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC coupled with Mali-G57 MC5 GPU. It offers up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on MIUI 12.
At the back, Redmi 10X Pro features a quad camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto shooter, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The telephoto lens supports 3X optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom, and 30x digital zoom. The main shooter has the support for four-axis optical image stabilization. On the front, the phone has a 20MP selfie camera, housed inside the dewdrop-style notch.
The smartphone houses a 4,520 mAh battery with support for a 33W fast charging. On the connectivity side, it supports dual-band 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. And most importantly it does have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Redmi 10X comes with IP53-level for dust and splash protection.
Redmi 10X 4G Specification
Redmi 10X 4G is essentially the Redmi Note 9 rebranded for the Chinese market. Redmi 10X 4G features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ LCD display that has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and offers up to 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
Redmi 10X features a quad-camera setup at the back consists of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens. There is an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie camera that sits into the punch of the display.
Redmi 10X 4G comes with a 5,020 mAh battery that supports 18 W fast charging and 9W reverse charging.
Redmi 10X Series Pricing and Availability
Redmi 10X 5G is priced in China at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,900) for the 6GB + 64GB storage option. The 6GB + 128GB storage model is priced at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 19,100), the 8GB + 128GB storage option will retail at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 22,200), while the top-end 8GB + 256GB model carries a price tag of CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs. 25,400).
On the other hand the Redmi 10X Pro 5G is priced at at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 24,300) for the 8GB + 128GB model and at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 27,600) for the 8GB + 256GB storage option.
Redmi 10X 4G is priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,500) for the 4GB + 128GB storage option and at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,700) for the 6GB + 128GB storage option.
Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G will go on sale on 1 June and 5 June respectively. While the Redmi 10X 4G is already on sale in China.
