Google has launched Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G. There is almost everything we knew about these phones even before launch. So there is nothing that can surprise you. This year Google has decided to use midrange Snapdragon 765G SoC for Google Pixel 5 instead of flagship Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G both come with the same dual rear cameras as well as an 8MP selfie camera and features a hole-punch display design.

Google Pixel 5 features a 6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) OLED display with 432ppi pixel density and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 11 out of the box.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. The SoC has support for the 5G connectivity through the X52 modem. Google Pixel 5 comes with 8GB of LPDDR4 128GB of onboard storage that isn’t expandable via a microSD card.
At the back, Google Pixel 5 features, a dual-camera setup consists of a 12.2MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 16MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, Google Pixel 5 features an 8MP sensor at the front with an f/2.0 lens. Both the rear and front cameras offer up to 4K video recording support at up to 60fps.
Google has provided a 4,080mAh battery on Pixel 5 that supports 18W fast charging. The phone also supports wireless charging and reverse charging. On the connectivity side, it has support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, barometer, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Further, it includes stereo speakers and three microphones.

Price and Availability
Google Pixel 5 price starts at $699 (roughly Rs. 51,400), whereas the Google Pixel 4a 5G starts at 499 (roughly Rs. 37,000). Google Pixel 5 will be available in the US from October 15 while Google Pixel 4a 5G will go on sale in Japan from October 15. Both phones will be limited to 5G markets – Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, the UK, and the US.
