Today Xiaomi launched Mi 9 SE along with flagship Mi 9 at an event in Beijing in China. Mi 9 SE is the successor of last year’s Mi 8 SE. The Main highlight of this device is that it is the World’s first phone powered by Snapdragon 712 SOC and 48 MP triple rear cameras. So here is the full spec sheet of the device.

Mi 9 SE has a 5.97” Super AMOLED Samsung made display with a small water drop notch at top. It is powered by Snapdragon’s new 712 SOC and runs on Android Pie (9.0) on the top of MIUI 10. It has 90.47 percent high screen to body ratio. Brightness can goes upto 600 nit which can come handy in use under bright Sunlight. The screen carries >60000:1 contrast ratio, 103.8 percent NTSC colour gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Camera
On the optical side it has a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 shooter with f/1.75 and 1.6 μm pixel size. The main shooter has a 13 MP f/2.4, 1.12 μm pixel size ultra wide-angle lens and a 8MP f/2.4, 1.12 μm pixel size telephoto lens for the company. On the front it has a 20MP selfie shooter. Xiaomi also has thrown some AI feature on the shooter. The selfie shooter has a dedicated beauty mode.
Other Features
MI 9 SE has a fifth generation under display fingerprint sensor. Mi 9 SE has 3070 mAh fast rechargeable battery but capped at 18W. The device is backed by LPDDR4X standard 6GB RAM with 64 or 128GB UFS 2.1 standard onboard storage. But it lacks 3.5mm headphone jack as expected. It also has NFC, infrared remote control.
Pricing
The device will be available in blue, violet and dark great colors option, with a price tag of 1,999 Yuan ($ 297 / Rs 21,150 approx) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. For 128GB storage buyers need to pay 2,299 yuan ($ 341 / Rs 24,330 approx). It will go on sale in China from March 1st.
